Pure Lunacy™ is a movement, a lifestyle, a frame of mind.
The goal is simple: Question. Challenge. Rise.

Question: We must question our society, our government, our lives and examine the reality before us. We must analyze our problems, our societal structures, and our very personal views.

Challenge: We must challenge the viability of our social construct, new and old. We must challenge the concepts that are so quickly becoming the norm and challenge the concepts that are already the every day standard.

Rise: We must rise up to the plate and become a catalyst of change. We must rise in whatever capacity we have, locally and nationally.

Meet Dr. Priscylla Bento

Dr. Priscylla Bento is a Christian and bonafide Texan. She was raised as a preacher's kid of a Southern Baptist Pastor in America's Bible Belt. Dr. Bento was born in Dallas and grew up in Rockwall as a first generation American to immigrant parents from Brazil.

As an academic and professional, Dr. Bento has accomplished experience in public policy, community & economic development, strategic & urban planning, research & analysis, policy management and higher education.

Fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and conversational French, Dr. Bento is a true academic. Her formal education includes a Bachelors in History & Political Science (2 Majors), a Bachelors in French, a Masters of Public Administration, and a PhD in Urban Planning and Public Policy from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Throughout out her academic and professional career Dr. Bento has consistently questioned and challenged the reality she has faced. It soon became apparent that to truly make an impact she had to first accept that life is Pure Lunacy!
